PITTSBURGH (AP) - A Pittsburgh man has been jailed on charges he threatened to stab and shoot a security guard at a psychiatric hospital, and made a reference to a fatal shooting there two years ago.
Online court records don’t list an attorney for 38-year-old Perry Bagley, who remained jailed Friday on four counts of terroristic threats.
University of Pittsburgh police say Bagley threatened to stab the guard with a pen and then shoot the man during a confrontation Wednesday at the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic.
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review (https://bit.ly/P8nTom ) reports Bagley then told other employees, “No wonder people come in here and kill ya all.”
Police charge that is a reference to the March 8, 2012 shooting by crazed gunman John Shick that killed one worker, and wounded five others. Shick was fatally shot by campus police.
