The Commanders’ training camp roster churn continued Tuesday as the team officially signed four free agents and moved a pair of veterans to injured reserve.

Wide receiver River Cracraft and running back Jerome Ford were moved to the injured list, while the team officially released backup punter Matt Haack and kicker Jake Moody.

The team did not specify the nature of Cracraft’s injury, but coach Dan Quinn noted that Ford suffered a hamstring injury during Friday’s preseason opener against the Miami Dolphins.

Moody’s release, which was reported on Monday, meant that undrafted rookie Drew Stevens won the kicking competition at training camp.

“Both guys, I thought, have had productive days, but I thought Drew established himself. Thought he’s kicking it pure and clean,” Quinn said. “It is important for him to have the next two games where he gets all the kicks, all the moments.”

The new acquisitions included running back Craig Reynolds, linebacker Krys Barnes, tight end Tre McKitty and defensive tackle Maurice Hurst II.

Tuesday’s unpadded practice featured several absences, including linebacker Jordan Magee and edge rushers Odafe Oweh and K’Lavon Chaisson. Quinn is expected to provide an update on their status Wednesday ahead of Saturday’s preseason game in Detroit against the Lions.
