SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - Police in Santa Fe say the shooting death of a man is being investigated as a homicide.
They say people reported hearing gunshots late Saturday in the downtown area.
Police say the body of 37-year-old Rustin Radcliffe was found in a parking lot across the street from the Hotel St. Francis.
He was declared dead at the scene.
Police investigators have interviewed staff and guests at Hotel St. Francis, some of whom heard the gunshots.
But police say none of them witnessed the shooting.
Investigators still are trying to find out if any surveillance cameras on the block recorded the incident.
The Santa Fe New Mexican reports that Radcliffe graduated from Los Alamos High School in New Mexico and attended the Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Arizona in the late 1990s.
