NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Police in Newark are investigating after two separate shootings have left two men dead and another injured.
The shootings happened early Sunday morning.
In the first, 19-year-old Shahire Williamson, of Irvington, was killed after he was shot on North Munn Avenue near Bradley Court. A 24-year-old man was shot and hospitalized in critical condition.
In the second shooting, an unidentified man was found shot to death on Clifton Avenue.
No information on suspects or motive in either of the shootings was immediately released.
