Bethesda family gives thanks by giving to Sandy victims

The Audas family of Bethesda, Md. has collected clothing and will spend their Thanksgiving in N.J. volunteering to help Sandy victims.

Nine-year-old Andrew Audas walks through a pile of clothing as his dad Jim Audas goes through a trash bag of donated clothes while sorting through the many bags of donated clothing items for "Project Keep Them Cozy," started by the Audas children to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. The family's unfinished basement room has become the home base for organizing and sorting all of the donations, which they will personally drive up to New Jersey this week. The family plans to stay up there through the Thanksgiving holiday to volunteer. This image was made Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. (Barbara L. Salisbury/The Washington Times)
