The Prince George's County Council member clocked driving at least 105 mph in her county vehicle — but not ticketed for speeding — says she will give up the car until she completes a driver-safety course.

Prince George's prosecutors say violations of the county's dance-hall law remain prevalent, despite a crackdown that resulted in guilty pleas Wednesday from the first club operators charged under the new statute.

Two operators of a Capitol Heights-area nightclub that was the site of a deadly drive-by shooting are expected to plead guilty Wednesday to violating Prince George's County's newly enacted law governing dance halls, prosecutors said.

They're not all nightclubs. Some are bars, some are strip joints, restaurants and even banquet halls. But they all host dancing in Prince George's County.
"I'm solely looking at the jobs," she said. "This is a huge economic boost."
"When you have someone who hires over 100 people from your county alone, that is something to celebrate," Ms. Toles said.
