    RG3 says knee surgery rehab on track, he's 'doing great'

    He had surgery on Jan. 9 to revise his ACL reconstruction and repair the lateral collateral ligament and medial meniscus. Doctors expect him to be ready for the Redskins' first regular season game, which is Monday, Sep. 9 at home against Philadelphia.

    Vick is entering his fifth season with the Eagles, and the soon-to-be 33-year-old quarterback is the oldest player on a rebuilding team. He accepted a restructured contract to remain with the Eagles, just two years after signing a $100 million extension that included $35.5 million in guaranteed money.
