This photo provided by Joe Burns shows a painting by the Minneapolis artist of an oil pump in a field. Twenty-five paintings that depict life and landscape during different seasons in the heart of North Dakota's oil boom will be showcased for the first time in June, 2015, in Williston, N.D. Burns took his easel and a camera to Williston for about 30 days throughout 2014 to paint on site and take pictures of people he would later paint on canvasses back at his studio. (Joe Burns via AP)
