A house is on fire after law enforcement officers exchanged fire with a man holed up inside a home after an eviction was served Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Chino, Calif. A sheriff's deputy went to the home to serve an eviction notice and the man fired at him, said Tamrin Olden, a spokeswoman for the city's police department. A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
