ADVANCE FOR THE WEEKEND OF APRIL 23-24 AND THEREAFTER - In a March 16, 2016 photo, members of the Rova family, from the left Erik Morgan, his mother Marsha Rova, and her brother John Rova, stand on their grandfather’s property in Poulsbo, Wash. When Eva Rova Barnes died in 2011 weeks shy of her 95th birthday, her will gave her sizable stake in the 46 acres, along with other nearby real estate and the rest of Barnes' property, to her friend and caretaker, Michelle Velarde, whom she got to know years before as her mail carrier. The family descendants regained the land in a supreme court ruling. (Larry Steagall/Kitsap Sun via AP) MANDATORY CREDIT
