The Parkmobile app on the iPhone. In Chinatown on Thursday, July 28, 2011, Mayor Vincent C. Gray announced the completion of pay-by-phone parking across the District. The Parkmobile system allows motorists to use a mobile app, the Internet, or a toll free phone call to pay for parking based on the zone that they park in.
