Seen and heard last night at MCI Center:

MOON OVER THE TIDAL BASIN— The swooning Miami Hurricanes are eager for tomorrow’s rematch with the Hoyas because Perry Clark’s team will have spent three days in the nation’s capital. The Hurricanes lost their third overtime game Wednesday at Rutgers and bused down I-95 to the District.

JUST LET IT GO — Villanova apparently wants to relive the glory of the 1985 NCAA national championship — won with an upset of Patrick Ewing’s Hoyas — by wearing uniforms from that season. The Wildcats broke out their retro uniforms in Monday’s disappointing 74-67 home loss to crosstown rival and third-ranked Saint Joseph’s. Villanova resumed its flashback against Georgetown and may wear its old navy blue outfits in another game this season.
