The passing of CNet Senior Editor James Kim, who died trying to summon aid for his snowbound family in southwestern Oregon, marks not only a loss for tech journalism, but also provides a reminder of what is truly important. You can — and, I would suggest, should — read this tribute to a caring and passionate man.
