For reasons of timing, I wasn’t able to include this quote from Large-Hearted Boy blogger David Gutowski in today’s story about music blogs on the Web: “There is an immediacy to blogging that

print lacks, as well as an audience participation aspect. On some blogs Stereogum, for example the commentary on a post can be as enlightening (and interesting) as the post itself.”

I second that - and encourage any of you who may be lurking here to throw in your $0.02 via the Comments box below. It’s relatively pain-free: All we ask is for an e-mail address, and we promise no one will try and sell you anything because of your participation here.

By all means, tell me I’m a moronic ignoramus with insufferably bad taste and poor composition skills. I’m a big boy (though not literally) and can take my lumps.
