COMPLETE REMODEL

Crystal Symphony is pulling into port for a 12-day, $23 million refurbishment. The ship, already a favorite of cruisers worldwide and ranked as one of the most luxurious cruise ships in the world, is refurbishing every cabin in a new boutique style. Rooms will feature flat-screen TVs, leather headboards, new seating and upgraded bathrooms. The ship also will get a new entertainment area and casino.

Summer may be over in Washington, but US Airways is encouraging travelers to head to the beach in winter by offering fares to more than 30 beach destinations starting at $79 each way.

Sale fares are available from all three Washington-area airports.

A sample one-way fare from Washington to Cancun, Mexico, is $149. MasterCard holders also can save an additional 5 percent by using the credit card to purchase the round-trip fare. Fares are valid through Feb. 15.
