Olie Kolzig was honored before the game for his work with charitable organizations. A check for $21,174 was presented to the goalie for Athletes Against Autism, an organization he help found.

142 Consecutive games played for Thrashers left wing Slava Kozlov until he was scratched because of dizziness. Kozlov received an elbow to the head Friday night and did not make the trip.

OVECHKIN WATCH

Alex Ovechkin’s goal-less streak ended at five games when he scored his 26th goal of the season on a power play.
