NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (AP) - Members of the Northampton Fire Department hopped into action when they heard the Easter Bunny was trapped and needed help.

Four members of the department rushed to a city home just after noon on Sunday when they got a call from a woman who said the bunny belonging to the little girl she was baby-sitting had escaped and hidden under the porch.

The Republican (https://bit.ly/1eULlAC ) of Springfield reports that after unsuccessfully trying to coax the rabbit out of hiding, and even stomping on the porch to try and scare it out, firefighter Jesse Rosnick crawled on his belly through the dirt in the small crawl space under the porch.

He grabbed the rabbit and gave it back to the little girl firefighters say was 5 or 6 years old.
