FLORENCE, Ariz. (AP) - A Chandler husband and wife who pretended to show Pinal County homes for salein order to burglarize them have been sentenced to prison.

The Pinal County Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday that 42-year-old Deanna Gaw and 45-year-old John Gaw pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary each.

Prosecutors say John Gaw, a real estate agent, accessed an online system in 2012 to look for homes for sale in SaddleBrooke.

They say Deanna Gaw then posed as an agent and used appointment times as burglary opportunities.

Homeowners who became suspicious reported the couple in July 2012.

Deputies arrested them after finding several stolen items in their vehicle.

Prosecutors say as part of the plea agreements, Deanna Gaw will serve 2½ years in prison and John Gaw will serve 3½ years.
