WAVERLY, Neb. (AP) - A high school teacher in eastern Nebraska has been accused of inappropriately touching a 14-year-old student.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year-old Seth Dillon Styskal turned himself in Wednesday morning. He was jailed on suspicion of third-degree sexual assault of a child and later released on a personal recognizance bond.

The freshman student at Waverly High School told her mother that Styskal ran his foot up between her legs after school in late January or early February. The girl and two other students say Styskal also communicated with them via a phone messaging app. Two of the girls say the messages made them uncomfortable.

The Lincoln Journal Star reports (https://bit.ly/1rrZENF ) Styskal is on leave from work and has agreed to resign. Court records do not list an attorney.
