OVERTON, Neb. (AP) - Two people have been arrested and more than 206 pounds of marijuana has been seized along Interstate 80 in south-central Nebraska.

The Nebraska State Patrol says a trooper pulled over a minivan for a lane violation about two miles west of the Overton exit around 9:30 a.m. Thursday. A drug dog taken to the scene alerted officers to the odor of drugs coming from the minivan. The patrol says the pot was found in vacuum-sealed bags inside trash bags in the minivan’s cargo area.

The driver and her passenger were taken to Dawson County Jail in Lexington. Online court records don’t show that they’ve been charged yet.
