TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A Tucson man faces over 24 years in prison after being sentenced in a child pornography case.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for Arizona says a federal judge sentenced 43-year-old Lance Robert Fries on Wednesday on his guilty plea to two counts of production of child pornography.

The office says a grand jury indicted Fries on Jan. 30, 2013 after an investigation revealed that he sexually abused a toddler multiple times, and allowed the abuse to be watched by others via webcam over the internet.

According to the office, the case was part of a nationwide operation to combat child sexual exploitation.
