NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Terrence Smith scored 14 points and Tim Coleman and Jake Duncan each added 13 apiece as NJIT routed Division III Wheelock College 110-46 on Thursday night.

NJIT (10-15) shot 69.4 percent from the field and hit 12 of 19 from beyond the arc against overmatched Wheelock (1-19). NJIT also out-rebounded Wheelock 40-20 and held a 25-9 advantage in assists.

Winfield Willis and Montana Mayfield each added 12 points apiece and Damon Lynn had 10 as NJIT had six players score in double figures. The Highlanders never trailed and led 54-25 at halftime.

Derek Fournier scored 18 for Wheelock, which shot just 29.6 percent from the field and committed 20 turnovers.
