PHOENIX (AP) - A Phoenix couple escaped injury when a 16-year-old girl crashed an SUV into the front door of a house after leaving the scene of a minor automobile accident nearby.

Police say the teen crashed into the front door of the couple’s home after she lost control while making a turn in central Phoenix.

According to police, the girl doesn’t have a driver’s license and she could face several charges.

The impact from the Thursday afternoon crash damaged the home’s entryway. The driver had very minor injuries.
