A stampede of tens of thousands of unaccompanied alien children are crossing over the southern U.S border (“Life inside a children’s warehouse: Border agents watch over illegals in limbo,” Web, June 18). President Obama’s flagrant disregard for America’s immigration laws has become an open invitation to illegally cross our borders.

If this migration is allowed to continue the United States will be responsible for endangering the lives and well-being of numerous vulnerable children. They could be subjected to horrific abuses as well as infectious diseases.

These children should be sent home and told they will not qualify under the “Deferred Action” or any other program. This will stop further illegal immigration from the south. To continue to disregard these children’s safety is a blatant act of child abuse.
