A naval hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia, is on lockdown while security forces search for a man who is suspected of stabbing a military member on base.

CNN is reporting that the incident happened in front of a Navy exchange near Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. It is unclear if other people are injured, NBC News said.

The medical center posted a message on its Facebook page saying that medical facility was on lockdown and that staff and patients were urged to seek seek shelter.

Military security forces are currently searching for a white male weighing about 165 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes, according to the social media website.

At the time of the stabbing, the suspect was wearing tan cargo pants and a white shirt, per the medical center’s Facebook page.
