BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Five players have been selected as finalists for the North Dakota Miss Basketball award.

Central Cass center Faith Dooley and Thompson post Shannon Galegher are playing this weekend at the state Class B girls basketball tournament. The remaining three players led their teams to the state Class A tournament.

Other finalists are Jamestown center Paige Peterson, Bismarck forward Keisha Engelhardt and West Fargo guard-forward Cassidy Thorson.

The award will be presented at the conclusion of the state Class B tournament. It is given annually by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association to the top girls basketball player in the state.
