There is a foul smell of rotten politics coming from the Democrats and the White House, and it’s choking the American public. They’re getting help from most mainstream television news networks, which only report what they want us to hear.

Gone are the days of good, unbiased reporting — and we are denied the right to make up our own minds about what we wish to watch and hear on TV news.

It’s more than apparent that most news networks are supporting President Obama through thick and thin. When Fox News host Bill O’Reilly asked Mr. Obama if the IRS was guilty of any wrongdoing, the president responded by saying there had not been “even a smidgen of corruption” in the agency. If you listened to the congressional hearings on the matter, you know this response is a bold-faced lie.

From Operation Fast and Furious and Benghazi to the IRS, NSA spying and Obamacare, Mr. Obama and his merry men have gotten a pass from most news networks.

When Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid stood before the Senate recently and said that reports of people losing their health care were all lies, no major mainstream network followed up and investigated his outlandish statement or held him accountable.

When House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi called Obamacare “affordable, affordable, affordable,” no mainstream news network bothered to interview any of the people now unable to afford their health insurance.

For the past two weeks, the tragic loss of a commercial airliner has overshadowed the news of Russia invading Ukraine. Hungry for ratings, the TV news media prostituted the story with supposition and guesses from various people who had no evidence of what really happened. Heaven forbid anyone wake up from this nightmare of lies and deceit and learn the truth — right, Mr. Obama?
