LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) - A 28-year-old Lake Charles man accused of killing his girlfriend’s stepfather has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in state district court.
The American Press reports (https://bit.ly/1eOXZNb ) Jonathon Jerome Guillory entered his plea on Monday.
Authorities found 43-year-old Felton Boutte Jr. face down on the floor, dead of gunshot wounds on Feb. 6.
They allege Guillory shot Guillory following an argument.
Guillory is jailed at Calcasieu Correctional Center on $500,000 bond.
