SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) - A northeastern Pennsylvania woman will spend time in prison for tampering with a bottle of children’s painkillers.

Thirty-five-year-old Yolanda Holman of Wilkes-Barre was sentenced Tuesday to 26 months in federal prison.

Holman admitted buying a bottle of children’s Advil and replacing the pills with muscle relaxers and iron.

She says she resealed the bottle with glue and had her daughter return it so she could get her money back.

Holman apologized in court, saying she returned the switched pills because she needed gas money to bring her daughter to the doctor.

She pleaded guilty in February to a single count of tampering with a consumer product.
