KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) - Cobb County police say two men have been arrested in a fatal hit and run crash.

Department spokesman Mike Bowman says a driver lost control of his vehicle in Kennesaw Sunday night. Bowman says the car hit three girls on a sidewalk.

Bowman says the driver has been identified as 27-year-old Tansu Kanlica, of Atlanta. Authorities say Kanlica is a locksmith and was chasing 23-year-old Garrett Anderson, who’s accused of theft of services.

Bowman says one girl was pronounced dead at the scene, a second suffered life threatening injuries and a third is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

Kanlica is facing several charges including vehicular homicide and reckless driving. Anderson faces similar charges and is also charged with theft of services.

It’s unclear if the men have attorneys.
