BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. (AP) - Four people have been charged in the shooting of a lawyer at his Oakland County home.

David Zacks survived the attack last week in Bloomfield Hills. Investigators say a man who identified himself as a police officer fired shots through the door, although he wasn’t a real officer.

The alleged gunman, 21-year-old Devon Miller, is charged with attempted murder. He remained in jail Tuesday, a day after bond was set at $5 million. A defense attorney hasn’t been assigned to the case yet.

Bloomfield Hills police Chief David Hendrickson calls the shooting part of a botched robbery. Three other people charged in the case are in their early 20s.
