TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - A northwestern New Jersey man who used his home computer to distribute child porn has been sentenced to two years in prison.

Federal prosecutors say 55-year-old Albert Rose of Lafayette also must pay $500 in restitution under the sentence imposed Tuesday and will have to serve five years of supervised release once he’s freed from prison.

Rose pleaded guilty last August to distributing child porn.

At the time, he admitted distributing child porn via email in February 2010. He also admitted having more than 600 images of child porn on his computer when it was seized in February 2012 from his Sussex County home.
