WOBURN, Mass. (AP) - A 28-year-old Everett man has been indicted in a string of carjackings across Boston’s western suburbs in March.

The Middlesex district attorney’s office said Thursday the charges against Donald Hall include armed carjacking, several assault charges, breaking and entering, illegal gun possession and leaving the scene after property damage.

Hall pleaded not guilty after his arrest March 31. A new arraignment hasn’t been set.

Prosecutors said Hall committed carjackings in Newton, Billerica, Carlisle and Concord, fleeing police in several towns before he was arrested after wrecking a stolen SUV in Bedford.

He allegedly drove one stolen car toward a Newton officer and fired at Concord officers. He allegedly struck several cars and forced two off the road.

Prosecutors say charges also are pending in Haverhill, where Hall allegedly stole a car before crashing it in Newton.
