DOVER, Del. (AP) - A traveling version of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington is coming to Dover.

“The Wall That Heals” will be at the Kent County Veterans Memorial Park near the county administration building from July 2 to July 5. The wall is a half-scale replica of the memorial in Washington. It was created by the foundation behind the memorial and has been traveling the country since it was unveiled in 1996. The replica wall is about 250 feet in length. Unlike the memorial in Washington, which is made out of black granite, the replica is made out of aluminum.

In Dover, the wall will be open to the public 24 hours a day. An opening ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. on the first day the wall is in the city.
