Texan country crooner Cory Morrow fights “The Good Fight” on this disc for Write On — and just in time for the new Rocky flick too. Standouts include “Breaking Me Out,” “All I Need Is You,” “Rise Up” and the uptempo “Dreams.” “Thought I’d Let You Know” is a countrytastic meditation, while “Love Hates” is a thoroughly engrossing examination on those two largest of human emotions. The album closes with the lovely dirge, “Running After You.”
