ANALYSIS/OPINION:

I was appalled Wednesday night watching the Republican debate on CNBC. Instead of focusing on economic issues such as jobs, interest rates, Dodd- Frank and taxation, the moderators asked ‘pinhead’ questions.

Since when is sports betting considered an economic issue? According to my current MBA class in North Carolina, sports betting is not mentioned once in the Constitution. It is outside the scope of federal government.

The last time I saw the Constitution and the Bill of Rights at the National Archives, they were heavily guarded. Perhaps the moderators from CNBC need to take Constitution 101 before attempting a presidential debate.
