Bill Clinton was the most corrupt president in American history. A man described as having the self-control of a priapic goat, the corruption of his presidency was pervasive. One example: China obtained sensitive missile technology, and not coincidentally, the American company involved in the transaction, Loral, donated $1.3 million to Mr. Clinton. Even his exit from office was accompanied by scandal: Jimmy Carter described as “disgraceful” the last-day pardon of Marc Rich, whose wife had donated more than $1 million to the Clintons. And who can forget the purloined furniture when the couple left the White House?

Now Hillary Clinton, having spent her adult life enabling her husband’s sexual misconduct, says it’s her turn to be president. As secretary of State, Hillary Clinton approved giving Russia rights to one-fifth of America’s uranium-production capacity. During that same time the Russian company donated more than $2 million to the Clinton Foundation, and Bill received half a million dollars in speaking fees. Other examples abound. It requires willful ignorance to pay no heed to bribery that borders on treason.

Donald Trump is not a sophisticated politician. Indeed, at times he comes off as an inarticulate boor. But the alternative, electing a high-class grifter to our nation’s highest office, would do irreparable harm and bring lasting shame to our country.
