ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Any implementation of a plan to deport more than 11 million illegal aliens is a fat financial tar baby to which the Democratic Party and its statist fellow travelers would love to see a Republican candidate or administration become permanently stuck, much the way President Lyndon B. Johnson marched his party and our nation deeper into the quagmire of the Vietnam War. Everyone in this country seems to forget that America is dead broke. So just who is going to get stuck with the deportation bill? Will Donald Trump go the socialist-progressive route and try to sell Americans on the idea that these deportations will be every bit as free as Clinton-Sanders college-education plans?

The illegal aliens in this country constantly bleat that their reason for coming to America was to seek jobs to support their starving families. While America owes them nothing, to solve our self-inflicted and burgeoning illegal-alien problem, let’s offer them the opportunity to become legitimate residents by registering as permanent foreign workers (PFWs). This status would be a magnanimous gift from the people of America. However, when accepting this generous gift of official status as a permanent foreign worker, illegal aliens would be required to acknowledge in writing that by illegally entering the United States they have forfeited any right to become U.S. citizens.
