DETROIT (AP) - DTE Energy says power has been restored its downtown Detroit headquarters.

The Detroit News reports (https://detne.ws/2glun3t ) an early morning cable failure caused the power failure.

The outage affected hundreds of employees who work at the headquarters, but DTE says no customers or critical operations were affected.



Some employees were being instructed to return home. Customer service employees were asked to report to work as usual.
