Cockney soulman James Hunter mixes sounds of both sides of the pond on this record for Deftone. “If That Doesn’t Tell You” will get any toes tapping, followed by the more downtempo cha-cha of “This Is Where We Come In.” “Something’s Calling” is a throwback to the sounds of Tony Bennett, and “Stranded” calls to mind some of the soul records of the ’60s.
