At the Dallas memorial service for the slain police officers, President Obama declared, “We are not as divided as we seem” and “I know America,” as though he were the modern father of our country. He also made reference to Scripture, including saying that we are “children of God.”

Even when combined with spiritual references, how is it possible to have law and order when the rule of law is corrupted (the IRS scandal, the Benghazi scandal, and the Clinton email scandal, to name just a few) palliated by the attorney general of the United States? We are no longer being governed by the rule of law, but are instead submitting ourselves to the rule of scandal.

This is a clear result of God being dismissed from our schools, universities, media, all three branches of government and even the military, those upon whom we depend for defense against would-be destroyers. God has even been ejected from the wording in the taking of the oath in congressional hearings.

The country that President Obama says he knows has lost its way. In a number of unscrupulous ways, God and integrity have been sacrificed in our system of justice.
