Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith announced a “Careers in Entertainment Tour” to support The Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation to support President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper Initiative to mark its second anniversary. The program aims to increase entertainment industry opportunities for all youths throughout America.

Mr. Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper was founded to especially address gaps in opportunities for young men of color. The Careers in Entertainment Tour will give students a chance to meet with entertainment industry professionals to learn about careers in the creative field.

In a statement, Miss Pinkett Smith said the tour “is an engine for change in our industry, and a means of closing the gap between dreams and the tools necessary to achieve them. This initiative in support of My Brother’s Keeper will engage our underserved young girls and boys in hope to inspire future generations — a responsibility I do not take lightly and one I cannot wait to bring to fruition.”
