SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A Utah man has been sentenced to life without parole for his role in a 2013 kidnapping and execution-style killing of a man near a Weber County ski resort.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/2eDLSbX ) that 38-year-old Christopher Leech was sentenced Wednesday in connection the killing of 34-year-old Clear Knight. Leech was convicted in September of aggravated murder, obstruction of justice and two counts each of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery.

Prosecutors say Leech was one of four people who kidnapped 34-year-old victim Cleat Knight as payback for the alleged theft of drug money. Leech is said to have pulled the trigger.

Viliamu Seumanu has been sentenced to life without parole for his role in the killing and two other men are awaiting trial.
