LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Las Vegas mother is facing a murder charge in the death of her 7-year-old son, who showed signs of abuse.
Vegas police said Friday that 26-year-old Roshaun Malone was booked into Clark County Detention Center on one count of murder.
It was not immediately known Saturday if she had an attorney.
Fire crews responding to a medical call at the Boulder Highway apartment on Sunday found Richard Findley, Jr. with severe injuries all over his body.
He died shortly after arriving at a hospital.
Investigators arrested 31-year-old Kenneth Robinson, who shares the apartment with Malone and four other children, for murder.
According to charging documents, Robinson admitted to tying the boy up and abusing him.
Malone told police the boy was tied up while she was asleep.
