HOPKINTON, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police say a driver is facing charges for allegedly pointing a gun at another driver in Hopkinton in August.

Police say they responded to the report of a road rage incident on Aug. 19.

Police say they stopped the suspected vehicle involved and the driver admitted having a firearm but denied displaying it.

After an investigation, police arrested 51-year-old Chris Bonollo of Henniker, New Hampshire, on Monday on charges of criminal threatening and carrying a handgun without a license.

It was not immediately known if he is being represented by an attorney.

Authorities say while Bonollo was in the police car he complained of shoulder pain so was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He was released on $7,000 personal recognizance bail.
