CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - Authorities in Charlotte say six students suffered minor injuries when their school bus was involved in a wreck.

Multiple media outlets reported the wreck happened around 7 a.m. Wednesday involving a bus carrying students to Garinger High School. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools said in a statement that the bus had about three dozen students on board.

Charlotte emergency medical workers took six students to the hospital to be checked.

Police are still investigating the wreck and how it occurred.
