High school coach accused of inappropriate touching

JACKSON, Ala. (AP) - Authorities in Clarke County say a Jackson High School teacher and assistant football coach is accused of sexual contact with a student.

Al.com reports (https://bit.ly/2dUceGn) the Jackson Police Department arrested 52-year-old Landon Hilt on Monday.

Police say the female student alleges that Hilt inappropriately touched her.

Hilt posted bond and was release.

Police say the investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Online jail records did not list an attorney for Hilt.
