Authorities ID man shot, killed in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police say the coroner’s office has identified a man shot and killed in Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports (https://bit.ly/2ero4aU ) that the Clark County coroner’s office says the gunshot victim was 28-year-old Jaycee Laushaul Jr of Las Vegas. The coroner also ruled the death a homicide.

Police say a caller told them she heard the gunshot at Virginia Apartments around 2 a.m. Thursday.

It is not clear whether anyone has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
