MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - Missoula County officials have released the names of three Missoula residents who were killed in a head-on collision near the airport.

Sheriff and Coroner T.J. McDermott says 65-year-old Andrew Depuydt and 67-year-old Suzanne Depuydt died Saturday afternoon when their car was struck head-on by a sport utility vehicle driven by 34-year-old Ryan Smith. All died of blunt force trauma.

The Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the crash in which Smith’s SUV crossed all lanes of traffic and struck the Depuydts’ car. The patrol says alcohol and excessive speed are considered factors in the crash.
