PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police have identified a man killed when somebody in a passing vehicle shot three people in a parking lot early Saturday morning.

Sgt. Jonathan Howard says the man who died was 33-year-old Floyd Wimbush. Another man and a woman had injuries described as non-life threatening.

Police say they’d like to hear from anybody with information about the shooting.

Howard says there’s no indication that the incident is related to the Phoenix serial shootings case.

That case involves shootings of multiple people, some fatally, while on or near streets in several parts of the city.

The victims in the latest shooting were shot in the parking lot of a business in the area of North 47th Street and East McDowell Road.
